Product description
A hospital mattress is made for clinical use: its waterproof, wipe-clean cover protects the foam from fluids and can be disinfected between patients, which is essential for infection control on the wards.
The core is PU or rebonded foam, about 4 to 5 inches thick, sized to the bed (around 1830 to 1980 × 900 mm). Single-piece mattresses suit plain beds; mattresses in two to four sections fold with the backrest and knee rest of Fowler and ICU beds. The cover is rexine or PU-coated fabric with a zip so it can be removed.
