Its main spaces are usually a dissection hall, a histology laboratory, a museum, a demonstration room and staff rooms, with an embalming area and cold storage for bodies. Purchases fall into four groups: dissection hall equipment (dissection tables, instruments, saws, cadaver storage), microscopes and histology equipment (microtomes, incubators, slide cabinets), museum material (articulated skeletons, bone sets, specimen jars, charts) and furniture for the laboratory, museum and teaching rooms.
Many colleges also add newer teaching tools such as a virtual dissection table. Quantities depend on your intake, room layout and teaching plan, so every quantity box in the list builder starts empty.
