Product description
A three-function or Fowler bed lets nurses raise the patient's back, bend the knees and change the bed's height or tilt. These positions help patients breathe, eat and rest more comfortably and make nursing care easier, so Fowler beds are widely used in medical, surgical and post-operative wards.
A typical bed is about 2100 × 900 to 1000 mm with a CRCA or mild-steel rectangular-tube frame and an epoxy powder-coat finish. Hand cranks drive screw mechanisms for each function, so no electricity is needed, and the backrest rises to about 75 degrees. ABS or steel head and foot panels, castors with brakes, IV rod sockets and side rails are common.
