Product description
A motorised ICU bed changes the patient's position at the push of a button. It reduces the physical effort for nursing staff, allows precise positioning, and its CPR release lays the bed flat in seconds in an emergency.
It usually has three to five motorised functions such as backrest, knee, height and Trendelenburg or reverse, driven by low-voltage actuators with a control box. Staff use a hand pendant or side-rail panels, with a nurse lock-out to stop patients changing settings. Many models have battery backup and central braking on 125 to 150 mm castors.
